Causes of the formation of algae in the pool

Proper care means, above all, that the pool must be thoroughly cleaned regularly and the appropriate maintenance products added to the water. Those who neglect this need not be surprised if the water turns cloudy or even green.

Algae are mainly created in the pool if there is not enough algae protection in the water. However, the wrong pH value can also be to blame for the formation of the algae. Or soiling from leaves, hair, dandruff or sunscreen. Algae also spread very strongly in the pool when the weather is very hot and the water in the pool heats up accordingly. ❶ Clean pool water:

First of all, you have to lend a hand and clean the pool. This includes the walls, the floor and the steps. Then fish the algae with a net and pump the water through the filter system and backwash the filter. If the infestation is low, the circulation pump should run continuously for 24 to 48 hours.
