Hardy, evergreen, littered with insect-friendly flowers in early summer and also resistant to typical boxwood diseases - that's the Bloombux®!
Do you already know the boxwood alternative Bloombux? No? - Then it's about time! This cross between two rhododendron game species really does it! On the one hand, the dwarf rhododendron scores with its full bloom in the early summer months, on the other hand it is resistant to typical boxwood diseases and pests. A perfect alternative for the boxwood, which is currently suffering from these problems.
Many garden lovers have already discovered Bloombux and will get their money's worth with it: The all-rounder can be used in a variety of ways in your own garden:
Two Bloombux varieties for two purposes
Nugget by Bloombux, for example, is ideally suited as a border for beds, while Bloombux in a 2 or 5 liter pot works perfectly on the terrace in the tub. The hardy Bloombux is suitable both as a group planting in the bed and as a half-height hedge and cuts a good figure.
Recently, Bloombux not only adorns the entrance areas as a spherical shape, but can also be used as a single plant in the garden. With the abundant bloom from May to June, the Bloombux then also attracts numerous beneficial insects. -
The evergreen leaf dress provides a green eye catcher in the garden in winter. Due to its limescale tolerance, the robust Bloombux grows on almost all loose garden floors and feels comfortable in a sunny, but also in a partially shaded spot. Thanks to its high cut tolerance, Bloombux offers a dense, compact growth.
The best time to cut is after flowering, so the new flower buds will not be cut off for the coming year.
